Red Dead Redemption 2 Delayed to 2018

If you woke up this morning to the sound of hearts breaking all over, it’s because Rockstar Games has cruelly announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 will no longer release this year, with the hotly-anticipated sequel being pushed back to 2018.

“This outlaw epic set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans,” the company said in a post.

However, to make amends for the delay, Rockstar has promised more details about the game soon enough in winter.
