EA has today announced that Star Wars Battlefront II’s Open Beta will be coming in October. You won’t need to pre-order to get access, but you will get earlier access if you do. It’ll run from 6th of October until the 9th for the general public, with those who pre-order getting access on the 4th.
You’ll be able to play the Galatic Assault on Naboo which we managed to get hands-on with at EA Play just last month. It’s awesome and full of explosive action.
For the first time, the open beta will give us a look at Starfighter Assault. They’re not revealing any details about this yet, but it’s set to be an objective-based, multi-stage battle set in the original trilogy era.
