EA has announced that the next Star Wars game will most likely be Respawn’s title that and will come out before FY2020 is up. This means that we should be seeing the recently announced Respawn Star Wars before March, 2020.
This probably means that we won’t be seeing another Battlefront game in this timespan, and that this will be the next major Star Wars game that EA released.
Respawn is the developer behind the Titanfall series. Whilst we don’t know a lot about the game, we do know that Respawn is collaborating with both Lucasfilm and EA to develop a brand new action-adventure game set in the Star Wars universe. To me, this sounds like it’ll be a story driven adventure rather than multiplayer focused.
