This is one of those things that could only happen on the internet.
Randy Pitchford, who is best known for creating the Borderlands franchise, made a heart-felt plea to the Parody Kaz Hirai Twitter account, asking that before his time finishes at Sony, that he please make PlayStation and Xbox allies and allow cross-play in order to grow the gaming userbase.
It wasn’t long before a Twitter user corrected him, telling him that this was a parody account. Pitchford laughed it off, saying that he’d been following the Twitter account for years, thinking that Hirai was cooler than he actually was.
Humbly, consider this before you go: We need Xbox and Playstation to be allies. Instead of competing with each other, you guys need to work together to compete with all other distractions. Let’s get a billion users between Xbox and Playstation – working together it is possible!

Holy shit that is amazing. I have been following for a few months thinking Kaz is so much cooler than I actually thought he was (and I thought he was cool). That’s what I get for not even bothering to read the bio. lol rip fml
