Jason Schreier (Kotaku’s News Editor) has uncovered that a 2K studio is working on a new top-secret Bioshock game. He uncovered this information whilst researching what happened to the team that created the last Mafia game, who were subsequently merged with an existing 2K studio to become Hangar 13.
The last game in the Bioshock series released over five years ago, with the original games being re-released on PS4/Xbox One a few years ago. It was always likely that 2K would keep the extremely popular series alive, but it’s good to see that there’s some confirmation about development being active.
Let’s hope we get to see something about the game later this year.
