Call Of Duty: Black Ops IIII Looks To Be Heading Back To The Future

After WW2 brought the series back to boots on the ground, it looks like Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 will take players back to the future as the exosuits are prominent in the games leaked ad

Whilst it’s hard to tell from this image, there’s enough clues to tell us that it looks like Black Ops IIII will be going somewhat into the future.

Interestingly enough, the Black Ops series have been set in a number of different timezones. The original COD: Black Ops was set in the 1960s during the cold war, Black Ops II was set in 1980/2025 and Black Ops III was set in 2065.

Going off the image, it looks like the soldiers are probably set somewhere in the 2020s with the guns looking futuristic and the solders wearing exosuits. They definitely don’t look as futuristic as they did in Black Ops III.

We’ll know more about COD: Black Ops IIII when the game is properly revealed on Saturday morning. The rumour is that the game won’t feature a story mode, but will instead focus on multiplayer, Zombies and a battle royale mode.
