It was cryptic and kind of weird, but it was just confirmed at The Game Awards that Bioware are indeed developing a new Dragon Age.
We got next to no information about the game (or even a title saying Dragon Age), but it was pretty telling that it was indeed a new Dragon Age Game.
The teaser trailer ended with #TheDreadWolfRises.
There were rumours earlier this week that a new Dragon Age would be announced this week but that it would be at least three years away. With the tiny tease that we got to see today, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is rue.

Bioware has just posted a new blog post on their website detailing the Dragon Age tease:
We have been working on a new Dragon Age™ game for quite a while now and I am pleased to finally tease the existence of this project!
While we won’t be sharing any details for now, I can tell you we have been building a new team around a core of Dragon Age veterans, people I’ve worked with on Dragon Age, Jade Empire™, and some of whom I’ve worked with since the Baldur’s Gate days.
While I have been focused on Anthem™, the rest of the team has been hard at work exploring ways to push BioWare’s storytelling to the next level.
