The rumour mill has been off the chain over the last 24 hours.
What began with a shaky YouTube video is now eventuating into some more credible rumours that a Free-To-Play Titanfall Battle Royale called Apex Legends will apparently launch as early as next week.
Esports reporter, Rod Breslau started Tweeting out more information about the game early this morning, which have since been corroborated by Kotaku.
Apex Legends will feature classes/heroes with unique abilities, maximum of 60 players per server, maximum of 3 players per team (trios) to compliment each other. No titans. Just as Titanfall and Titanfall 2, Apex Legends will run on a modified version of Valve's Source engine.

The rumours suggest that the game will come to PS4, Xbox One and PC as early as Monday or Tuesday. It will feature 60 characters with squads made up of 3 players per team. It won’t feature Titans according to these rumours.
As far as microtransactions go, the reports suggest that they’ll only be in there for cosmetic items.
It’s also since been discovered that the website playapex.com leads back to EA’s website, so that brings a little more credibility to the rumours.
