After the Today Show aired a segment this morning with a ‘new game warning’, Channel 7 is tonight set to air a segment on its news program featuring Apex Legends. In the teaser, the report is warning parents of a game “more addictive than Fortnite” with “hidden costs that parents need to know about”.
It’s definitely an interesting way to go about it. Apex Legends is free to play with cosmetic purchases available. It’s also interesting that they choose to show a younger kid playing the game, when it’s rated MA 15+.
