Kena: Bridge of Spirits was one of the games shown at the PS5 reveal event, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it ever since.
The game is Game Informer’s feature game this month, and they’ve already revealed a bunch of new information about the game and how it runs on PS5.
The article states that the game took two seconds to launch into on PS5 and that isn’t resuming from the game being suspended, but launching the game from the PS5 system menu.
“They have a whole thing set up where you can do transition and it’s very nice, but frankly it doesn’t have time to play the animation. It just loads the game so fast,” said Josh Grier, chief operating officer at Ember Lab to Game Informer.
A bunch of new screenshots for the game were also released, and it looks absolutely lovely. You can find all of them here, but we’ve picked out a few below. Kena: Bridge of Spirits is set to launch on PS5 and PC this year.
