NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 Will Restore Cut Content From The Original Game

From the point when it was originally announced, the producers of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 were decidedly coy about whether the remake would include new content.

But now, we no longer need to wonder and it seems the producers know what’s included. The producer on the project, Yosuke Saito, has elaborated a little bit more on what will be included.

Obviously, if you want to keep things a complete surprise, then stop reading now.

In an interview with PCGamesN, Saito-san had the following to say:

There are some extra story sections that we were unable to put into the original. There is also a […] powerful new boss lying in wait for you somewhere. Please enjoy it all.

But that’s not all he had to say, he also elaborated on whether or not the game will tie more directly to Automata.

There are loads of extra bits in there. There’s a new story, an extra link to Automata, and something for fans of “Dad NieR” too. So I think that people who played the original version ten years ago will be more than satisfied as well.”

It all sounds very mysterious – though exciting to see how the games will link given they take place thousands of years apart.
