Options for next-gen headsets have been limited, especially considering SteelSeries 7P and 7X headsets weren’t available in Australia at launch, but that has changed.
As of now, you can get the SteelSeries Arctis 7P Wireless from JB Hi-Fi. It is a little bit pricey at $349, but we’d expect it to be as good as the 7X (for Xbox Series X) and that was one of the best headsets that we’ve used bar none. You can grab it HERE.
The SteelSeries 7P has 24 hours of battery life, retractable noise-cancelling microphone and a USB dongle that lets you use it with the PS5, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately, the SteelSeries 7X isn’t available in Australia yet, which is a shame as it’s a headset that is compatible with literally every gaming console including the XSX, PS5 and Nintendo Switch (As well as PC). You can grab the 7X as well as 7P (currently out of stock) off the SteelSeries website though, if you’re happy to wait for shipping and the price is actually really good ($249 AUD)
