Following in the foot steps of God of War, Ghost of Tsushima and Ratchet and Clank, The Last Of Us Part II is the latest game to get a PS5 performance patch bringing a new display mode that targets 60 FPS visuals.
Announced in a blog post, Naughty Dog said that patch 1.08 will bring a “toggle in the Display options that allows you to choose between a Framerate Target of 30 FPS or 60 FPS. This allows you to choose your preferred framerate to complement the rest of the enhancements that are part of the PS5”.
Naughty Dog went on to say that the team has been digging into the PS5 hardware and the possibilities it unlocks since launch last year and that they’re excited about what the future holds. They said that this patch is just the first step of working on the PS5 and that they’ll let us know when they have more to share.
