It’s almost time for Amazon Prime Day, the few days where the sales are great particularly for Amazon Prime members, with a tonne of all-day deals and lightning deals that are snapped up almost instantly.
WHEN IS AMAZON PRIME DAY?
We still don’t know 100% when Amazon Prime Day is happening, but we can pretty much guess that it’s happening at some point in June. Amazon said that it would take place in Q2 meaning wither May or June and considering May is nearly over, it must be June.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING
Amazon Prime Day has quickly become one of the best sale events of the year, but obviously you need to be a Prime member. If you haven’t been a Prime member before, you can get a 30 day trial right now which would take you through to the end of June.

WHAT DEALS TO EXPECT
It’s really hard to know what deals to expect this year, especially with the release of the PS5/Xbox Series X (they weren’t out at the last Prime Day). It’s unlikely that we’ll see a PS5/Xbox Series X deal, although it wouldn’t surprise me to see Amazon maybe make an allocation available to draw a buzz. I’d definitely expect that we’ll at least see a lot of game deals for PS5/Xbox Series X deals as well as PS4/Xbox One/Nintendo Switch deals.
Last year, Nintendo Switch Lite went down to $239, there was a great Switch bundle for $408, a lot of Nintendo Switch games were available for under $50, there were a bunch of great hard drive and smart light deals, the PS4 Pro was available for $399.
There was also 15% off PS4 games, Xbox One games and Nintendo Switch games and $10 off $100 Amazon Gift Cards. There were also a bunch of great deals on MicroSD cards for Nintendo Switch.
