To close out Ubisoft Forward, the publisher pulled back the curtain on their long-gestating Avatar game, set in the world created by iconic film director James Cameron, running on their Snowdrop engine.
Although it’s still unclear what the game is going to be, the teaser certainly gives off open-world, almost Horizon-like vibes as we see a Na’vi engaging in a bit of aerial combat with the military invaders, led in the film by Giovanni Ribisi on a mission to harvest the island’s Unobtainium.

It’s said that the game will be first-person, a standalone story and it is indeed an open-world game where you follow Na’vi.
The game is clearly scenic and looks beautiful running in motion, we’re excited to see more in the coming months.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is expected to launch in 2022. It’s only coming to next-gen consoles including PS5, Xbox Series X and PC.
