Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection’s PS5 Release Date Has Been Revealed & Aussie Owners Can Get A Free Uncharted Movie Ticket

Naughty Dog and PlayStation have revealed that the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will release on January 28th for PS5. The collection includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End as well as Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The PC version of the game will release at a later date.

Not only will the game have a number of PS5 feature including faster load times, 3D audio as well as haptic feedback and adaptive trigger use through the DualSense controller, Sony has also detailed that the game will have three visual modes:

  • Fidelity Mode – For those of you who have a 4K display and want super sharp resolution above all else to enjoy the stunning environments and details the Uncharted series is known for, select Fidelity Mode and play in native 4K resolution with a 30fps target framerate.
  • Performance Mode – Performance Mode targets a 60 FPS frame rate.
  • Performance+ Mode – If you’re all about the smoothest gameplay possible and don’t mind a resolution drop, try out our first ever Performance+ Mode which targets 120fps* at a 1080p resolution.

Those that own Uncharted 4 or The Lost Legacy will be able to upgrade to the Legacy of Thieves collection for $15 AUD. Sony has also announced that Australians who either upgrade to or purchase the Legacy of Thieves collection will be able to redeem a single ticker for the Uncharted Movie which launches in February.
