Capcom held a Dragon’s Dogma anniversary event this morning and whilst the majority of the event was spent talking about the history of Dragon’s Dogma, it ended with a very special announcement. Dragon’s Dogma 2 is in development, which has been long awaited by fans. The game will be developed using RE Engine which is well known for the more recently Resident Evil games and should make for visually stunning game.
The original Dragon’s Dogma released on PS4 and Xbox 360 in 2012 and was well received by both fans and critics alike.
Obviously we don’t know a whole lot about Dragon’s Dogma 2 yet and it should be expected that it’ll be some time away, but this is exciting news nonetheless.
