SEGA has this morning announced Hyneas which is an online multiplayer shooter set in space that is releasing on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC in 2023. The game is being created by Creative Assembly, who is the team behind the incredible Alien Isolation.
Hyenas features 5 teams of 3 with the goal to be to rob a bunch of loot from other gangs in space. The best part about this is that the loot is nostalgic goodness from earth such as PEZ dispensers the SEGA Mega Drive and Sonic. Another really cool thing about the info released so far is that the game will take place in Zero Gravity, which should lead to some interesting gameplay.
The game will feature iconic characters who each have their own unique skills and abilities in order to keep things interesting.
