The PlayStation Plus rollout was finished today with the service becoming available in both Australia and the rest of Europe, but fans were disappointed to discover that we only had the option to play classic PS1/PS2 games in PAL rather than the much better NTSC.
PlayStation has now confirmed that it is planning to roll out NTSC support for the majority of the classic games offered in PlayStation Plus Deluxe in Australia and other territories. A timeframe wasn’t given, but it’s good to see that this will be rectified.

This is similar to the solution that Nintendo provided when it rolled out Nintendo 64 games on Nintendo Switch Online only to be met with backlash. The company now offers support for both PAL and NTSC where possible.
