UPDATE: EB Games has just dropped the Final Fantasy XVI Collector’s Edition. It’s exclusive to EB World Level 5 members in Australia and it’ll set you back $699.95 AUD. It looks to be sold out already but you can see it HERE, just in case it makes a return. We’ll be keeping an eye on it over the rest of the day.
It’s unclear at this time if EB Games will open this up to all EB Games customers at some point.
For those that aren’t aware, Level 5 is a fairly new tier to EB World. It is given to the top 9,999 EB Games members in Australia which is based on a points system that takes into account purchases, trade-ins etc. Admissions are only done once a year.
Following the release date being revealed earlier today. Square Enix has now revealed the Final Fantasy XVI Collector’s Edition and Final Fantasy XVI Deluxe Editions which will both launch alongside the game on June 22nd, 2023 exclusively on PS5.
The Final Fantasy XVI Collector’s Edition will be up for pre-order on the US Square Enix store at 1pm AEDT on Tuesday, December 13th. If it does become available at Australian retailers as well, we’ll let you know.
