Astro Bot released late last week and one of the best parts of the game is seeing all of the cool VIP bots based on PlayStation characters both from a first-party nature, but also a bunch of third-party and indie characters that have been on PlayStation over the years.
Whilst there’s a bunch of deep cuts from throughout the decades, there’s also a number of well-known franchises missing, but the credits of the game as well as concept art shown off could tell us who is likely to come to the game in DLC.
Within the concept art, we see Fat Princess as well as Twisted Metal’s Sweet Tooth, neither which appear in the game.
When it comes to the credits (thanks VGC), we see Ubisoft referenced for the likes of Assassin’s Creed, Beyond Good and Evil and Rayman, Croc and Worms mentioned as well as Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin, but none of these characters or franchises are represented in the game at all, meaning they could have been cut, with likely will come at a later stage in DLC.
We know that free DLC is due to release later this year including challenge levels, speed runs levels and more, with new VIP bots set to join the experience.
Astro Bot is out now. The cheapest price is currently $89 with free shipping from Amazon with the DualSense controller also available for $124.95 HERE.
