The PS5 Pro was revealed early this morning and it was subsequently confirmed that pre-orders would go live on September 26th ahead of the November 7th release date.
EB Games has now confirmed that they will begin taking pre-orders at 10:00am on Thursday, September 26th, which is when we’d expect the likes of Amazon and JB Hi-Fi to go live as well.
EB also confirmed that trade deals will be available at the time of pre-ordering as well, so it’ll be interesting to see what they include given the PS5 Pro comes as a digital only option in the box. At the time of writing EB Games do not stock the disc drive, which makes no sense given they’re a physical games retailer.
As soon as we have confirmation on what those trades deals are, we’ll do the calculations including all the different EB World calculations too. It’s going to be interesting to see what they are and how much a standard PS5 takes off that $1,200 price tag.
As far as the standalone prices in Australia, they are below:
- PS5 Pro 2TB (Digital) – $1,199.95 AUD
- PS5 Pro 2TB with Disc Drive purchased separately- $1,360 AUD
