After 10 years of being part of Australia’s largest media company, we’ve gone independent. We’ve loved bringing you curated gaming news with an Aussie spin, the latest bargains, round-ups from huge events that take place in the middle of the night and game reviews and would love to keep doing it.
We’ve given so much to Press Start over the last 13 years and we didn’t think we’d ever have the opportunity to own the brand again. We’re so thankful to SCA for believing in the brand over the last decade, recognising its importance in the local landscape and agreeing that it is best placed our my care moving forward.
We’re really motivated to navigate this next chapter and have loads of ideas for what Press Start can become, alongside Always-On and our landscape of social channels and communities to combine and reach as many Aussie gamers and tech-heads as possible. Being independent allows for the agility required to do that.
Whilst it’s very early in this journey, we wanted to give you a way to support the site going forward, with every dollar going directly back into the site.
