It has been revealed that Firewatch’s Xbox One released has been delayed in Australia due to classification issues. Despite releasing on PS4 and PC early this year, the game has to re-classified in Australia. This is most likely due to the fact that the game has added audio commentary.
It’s definitely an odd situation, but developer Campo Santo had advised that it should be available in the next 10-14 days. It’s available now in almost every other country.
Once the game is finally available, and you’re able to play, we wrote an in-depth piece trying to decipher the meaning of the game. You can find that HERE.
Good morning afternoon, Australia & NZ! Firewatch is going to be available on Xbox One as soon as we can get it rated down there. Apologies!
