Today, one of the largest brands in gaming, Xbox turned 15. Yes, you read that correctly, it’s been 15 years since the original Xbox launched in America.
Surprisingly, Nintendo has gotten in on the celebrations using Mario to congratulate Microsoft and the Xbox Division in a successful 15 years in gaming.
The Xbox brand was slow out the gates succumbing to the successful PS2 brand, before absolutely changing the way that online gamers interacted with their consoles with the Xbox 360 and Xbox Live. They’ve been responsible for some of the most iconic franchises with Halo, Gears of War and Forza absolute dominating the charts across multiple entries over the last 15 years.
