It’s been a long time coming, but soon you’ll be able to gift games to your friends on Xbox One.
I say it’s a long time coming, but it’s also one of the most requested features among the console’s userbase. So if nothing else, it proves that Microsoft is listening to their customers and providing services that they’re wanting.
The news was confirmed by Xbox Vice President Mike Ybarra on Twitter after he was asked this by a curious gamer.
Not far!

There were no further details about the feature’s rollout or how it’ll work. We expect it’ll be much like Steam, where a gamer can order and pay for their friend’s game, allowing them to download it for free upon their next log-in.
We expect we may hear a little something about this next month at Gamescom.
