The Verge Editor, Tom Warren has revealed that the Xbox Series X dashboard will be the same as the Xbox One dash, adding in some additional things based on Series X features. Speed and performance will also be improved.
Unlike the PS4, The Xbox One has gone through a series of dashboard changes over the last seven years and looks remarkably different to it did when the Xbox One launched.
I think it's a good thing that the Xbox dashboard is aligned on Xbox One and Xbox Series X. There will be improvements in the coming months, and there's a new Store app on the way. Things have been gradually improving on the dash, and will continue to do so

We know that a major update is coming to the Xbox Store in the near future. It’s called ‘Mercury’ and is a lot faster than the previous store with a much better layout and much better game layouts.
We’ll hear more about the Xbox Series X in July, when Microsoft show off its first-party lineup.
