Fallout 5

Fallout 5 Is Bethesda Game Studio’s Next Game After The Elder Scrolls VI

We’ll be in flying cars by then!

During a tell-all interview with IGN, Bethesda’s Todd Howard has confirmed that the team’s next next game will be Fallout 5.

Of course, their next game is set to be The Elder Scrolls VI, but with that still in pre-production as most of the main development team works to get Starfield out the door, it’s probable we won’t see anything substantial on players’ return to the wasteland anytime soon.

“Yes, Elder Scrolls 6 is in pre-production and, you know, we’re going to be doing Fallout 5 after that, so our slate’s pretty full going forward for a while,” said Howard.

“We have some other projects that we look at from time to time as well.”

With Starfield set to release in 2023 and The Elder Scrolls VI only in pre-production after being announced four years ago, obviously don’t expect Fallout 5 anytime soon, but it’s still exciting to have this confirmation nonetheless.
