Last week, we got to spend about five hours with Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. We got to try a variety of modes and were honestly surprised with just how much is packed into the game.
This video shows off some of the puzzle solving aspects of the game. There were two in quick succession which were both very different from each other. One was more representative of something that we’d see in a regular 3D Mario platformer, whilst the other was something that we’d never seen in a Mario game before.
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting a whole lot of this in the game. I was kind of expecting it to be battle after battle, but it’s great to see that there’s some overworld stuff to break up the battles.
Surprisingly, there’s also the traditional Mario 8 red coin speed runs.
