PS4 Demo Units Reveal A New Coverflow UI

PS4 demo units have started showing up on Twitter. They show a brand coverflow UI that hasn’t been seen on any previous demo unit. Even those that have popped up at Sony stores in recent weeks do not sport this UI. It’s to be expected that these are strictly designed for the demo units however it’s a pretty good look into how Sony are changing their UI design for this coming generation.

The PS4 will launch in just over a week in the USA and on the 29th of November in Europe and Australia. Will you be picking one up?

  • Hopefully that is what your game library of "installed" games looks like. I am getting tired of everything being boxes.

  • Id assume thats just the UI they use for demo/store units, not for regular systems.

The Wii U has the same thing, a coverflow UI for demo units, but not n actual consoles

  • Pleaassseee let this be in the final version of the PS4. Just like GOG. I love to view games in this manor. PS it would be awsome if you could see disk artwork, manuels maps etc... and the back of the box.

    Someone tell Sony.
