Square Enix have just announced via its YouTube channel that Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be getting a HD Remaster on PS4 in 2017. The Zodiac edition never got released outside of Japan. It’s unclear whether it will be exclusive to PS4 however that’s the only platform listed on the trailer.
The remaster will feature several improvements to features, gameplay and graphics. Background, character models and even cutscenes will be redone. Both English and Japanese voices will be included. Music will be available in two versions. You’ll be able to hear the original score as well as the re-recorded soundtrack.
Final Fantasy 12 originally released on PS2 in 2006.
