Greg Miller Agrees That Games In Australia Are Too Expensive

Greg Miller and Tim Gettys of Kinda Funny Games have been in Australia for the better half of a week for RTX Sydney. They’ve both been no stranger to gaming stores such as EB Games and JB Hi-FI. They’ve constantly tweeted about their adventure including their quest to find the worst (or best) PlayStation Vita section, Tim’s distain for Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5, but Greg’s latest tweet will probably resonate with the most Australian gamers.

Greg was shocked to see just how much games cost down under specifically labelling Resident Evil 7, Gravity Rush 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and PlayStation VR.

It’s always spoken about both in Australia and overseas that we get a tough time when it comes to gaming prices. There was a real period there where it was cheaper to import due to the dollar, and retailers in Australias were being incredibly competitive with new releases, but in the past few months, games on release day have been incredibly close to RRP.
