In a bit of a weekend surprise, you can download the long-awaited Necrobarista right now if you’re an Apple Arcade subscriber. You can download it right HERE
Necrobarista was developed right here in Melbourne by Route 59. It’s description sounds absolutely rad:
The game is a gorgeous 3D visual novel about a supernatural Melbourne cafe where the dead spend their last night on Earth. Utilising a unique anime-inspired aesthetic, Necrobarista places a focus on the usage of animation and cinematography to provide a cinematic experience that draws players into a visually and narratively captivating adventure. Featuring goon-sack robots, alchemical coffee, and Australian folk hero Ned Kelly. Players delve into the world of the in-game cafe, the Terminal, in free-roam as they uncover secrets and unlock short stories about the diverse cast of characters.
The game is available on iPhone and iPad (it’s unclear if it’s available on Apple TV). If you’re not an Apple Arcade subscriber, you can get 30 days free or sign up for $7.99 a month. The game releases on PC on July 22nd before hitting Nintendo Switch and PS4 in 2021.
