In case you’ve somehow missed it, Melbourne is getting another gaming convention with the minds behind other gaming properties such as BAM and Kanga Esports coming together to create The Game Expo.
The event will be taking place this weekend on March 11th and March 12th, 2023 at Melbourne’s Exhibition and Convention Centre. Saturday passes have already sold out, but Weekend, Sunday, BYOC and VIP passes are still on sale here.
The Game Expo is being described as an inclusive and welcoming event for anyone that loves gaming and pop culture. The latest games are being promised as being on offer, as well as tournaments, freeplay gaming, PC LAN gaming and tabletop gaming. It’s also promised that personalities and content creators will be in attendance.
With support from Creative Victoria and a number of exhibitors, creators and partners it sounds like there’ll be something for everyone. Whether you felt the absence of Just Dance at PAX 2022 and want to party at the Just Dance Stage, watch AusSpeedruns play games impossibly fast or get in some Unreal Tournament 2004 at the Ultimate BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) LAN, The Game Expo will have you covered.
The show is being described as being represented by three pillars:
There will be four zones featured as well that are split by colours:
