By the time Nintendo get around to officially revealing the Nintendo Switch 2 we’re likely to have a pretty damn good idea of what the console looks like given the leaks keep coming. The latest leak, courtesy of the accessory manufacturer Genki, includes a video of the console (albeit rendered) and demonstrates how the new and improved Joy-Cons work.
Genki have published a page on their website allowing people to join a waitlist for their range of accessories for the yet-to-be-revealed Nintendo gaming console. The webpage’s header includes a video demonstrating how the new Joy-Cons connect to the device, and give us perhaps our best look of the console thus far.

The additional button on the Joy-Con next to the trigger, having appeared in previous leaks, looks to be for releasing the Joy-Con, rumoured to be magnetised to the device rather than on rails.
Detached, the new buttons on the inside edge of the Joy-Con match recently leaked production images and show the updated optical sensor in effect.
The video gives us a good sense of the Switch 2’s form factor, albeit under a protective case Genki is developing. The L/ZL and R/ZR buttons and triggers look slightly redesigned, and a USB-C port appears on the top of the console.
A dock even features, a slightly curvier shape than the original and a big Switch 2 logo on the front.
Nintendo have acknowledged the existence of the upcoming console, but have yet to announce it beyond a statement last year indicating they would say more about the console in 2025. Surely the onslaught of leaks would suggest the reveal is imminent, and the release soon after.
