Blizzard took to the BlizzCon stage to announce Diablo 5 which will release in 2029.
Unlike other Diablo games, this one takes place in a world where you’re not fighting to stop Diablo from taking the sanctuary, instead he’s already won.
“The heroes are gone, Sanctuary has fallen and Diablo has won”is how the game has described. This is set to be quite a change-up from previous games in the series, and we’ll get more info at other panels this weekend.
It’s also been confirmed that Diablo 4 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on September 15th in the form of the Diablo 4: Age Of Hatred Collection which will offer cross-platform play, cross-progression and a continually evolving end game.
