Target has announced, that after three and a half hours of being on sale, the NES Classic Mini is now sold out.
Whilst the site managed to stay up for the majority of the 3 and a half hours, the site was clearly plagued with issues in its queuing system. Many users were left queuing even after the item was in their cart leaving them unavailable to check out.
It appears that a lot of people had issues checking out, which is mighty frustrating.

My order went through and payment even posted, and then I got an email saying my order was cancelled and refunded because they didn't even have enough in stock. That's bullshit. They shouldn't have processed the payment if they didn't have enough in stock. What's worse is that I did my order as soon as the item was listed as in stock.

Haven't heard of this. That's not fun at all...
5.5HRS in and I never even got notified on the site that they were sold out... still as we speak its "loading checkout"

yeh i got confirmation that i got one, but until its delivered you just dont know.
I got one after 3 hours. I only got one thanks to utilising the back button every time the site errored
i got it after 3 and a half hours, after having it in my basket I didn't wait on any queue, and just went back and forward until my payment went through
Yeh I did the same thing kept going back and forward till payment went through. 2.5hrs it took me. First payment went through then error through PayPal then kept trying and finally payment went through and got confirmation.
Got confirmation after 2 hours 47 mins
