One JB HI-Fi Store Has Poked Fun At EB Game’s Nintendo Switch Pickup Deadline

Earlier today it was revealed that EB Games would be incredibly strict with their pre-order pickup deadline for Nintendo Switch. It was revealed that they’d only allow gamers 48 hours to pickup their pre-order before offering it to other customers.

One JB HI-FI store has taken the matter into their own hands popping up a cheeky sign informing customers that they’ll hold their Nintendo Switch pre-order until they’re ready to pick it up.

The store in question is JB Hi-Fi South Wharf. Feel free to go say Hello and check out their incredibly Nintendo Switch display whilst you’re at it.

  • Really? 48 hours? Thats a ridiculous deadline for pickup! Go JB Hi-Fi!
I really dont shop at EB Games unless they have an exclusive I cant get at JB

    • It is ridiculous but with such small shipments i can understand them wanting to give them to people first (with preorders) come first serve. EB's second shipment isnt until April

      • More than anything I think it's horrific that these two are our best options. Almost no such thing as an independent game store in Australia anymore. Unless you live in Melbourne..

        • There really aren't any independent game stores in Melbourne anymore. Would be nice to see some though

          • That's a shame. When I lived there there was OzGames or something like that. It was pretty cool. Shame they're gone
