The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ on Nintendo Switch Has A Release Date

Developer and Publisher of the beloved indie roguelike The Binding of Isaac, Nicalis, Inc. has announced, via Twitter, that The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ for the Nintendo Switch will be officially available on March 17, 2017. It’s unclear if this will be the release day physically in Australia, but we’ll update this post once we know.

The game was originally slated for release on March 3, 2017, alongside the Nintendo Switch console but a delay was announced via Tumblr on February 20. The developers did not offer a specific reason for the delay at the time but assured eager fans that the game would still release in March.

Included in the physical launch edition of the game are two limited edition sticker sheets and reversible box art. Additionally, in classic Nintendo fashion, the game will include a 20-page full-colour instruction booklet.

  • Currently to aquire the game in Australia, create a new profile for the North America eShop and a NA Nintendo account, login with said details to the eShop and add the funds required with a digital Nintendo eShop card (make sure its NA card).
Or import, since there is no region lock.
