UPDATE: Nintendo Australia has confirmed that the SNES Classic Mini will release on September 30th in Australia for $119.95 AUD. More details HERE.
After the NES Classic sold like hotcakes throughout the year, it was a no-brainer that Nintendo would go ahead and add the Super Nintendo to the new miniature console family. It’s a market that even Atari are getting back into for some strange reason, but I have to admit that even I’m all-in for a Super Nintendo iteration.
The Super Nintendo Classic will be released in America and Europe on September 29th. This time around, it even comes with a second controller.
No Australian details for launch have been confirmed yet, but when we have them, we’ll be sure to let you know.
The Super Nintendo Classic launches with a healthy line-up of 21 titles, including Star Fox 2. Why is that a big deal? Well, it’s probably because that it was developed and never released, due to the development of the Nintendo 64. So this marks the first time the game will be on the market.
The full list of games is as follows.
Alright, we’re in. Take our money, Nintendo.
