EB Games Are Selling The 30th Anniversary Pokemon Sets At Double The MSRP

The 30th Anniversary Pokemon TCG sets went live this morning on both EB Games and JB Hi-Fi, and not only were EB Games once again requiring EB World Plus membership, it was also charging double (or a little bit below in some cases), what JB Hi-Fi were charging and the MSRP.

This is true across the board, although the most glaring example is the ETB which is $199 at EB Games in comparison to $100 at JB Hi-Fi as well as the UPC which was a whopping $599 at EB Games and $360 at JB Hi-Fi, and then this is true across the board where it’s a 60-102% increase when buying at EB Games compared to JB Hi-Fi.

We are hoping that this is some kind of mistake, as we haven’t seen this with past sets, although given the increase is across the board it seems very unlikely at this stage.
