Aussie-Made Zen Puzzle Game Unpacking Should Be On Your Radar This November

Whether you’ve been hanging for it since checking it out at a local expo event or online, or you’re hearing about it now for the first time, you should know that Unpacking is just two weeks away from release.

The game, from Brisbane-based studio Witch Beam, replicates the experience of lifting a lifetime of personal possessions from boxes and placing them in a new home via a simple drag-and-drop mechanic with gorgeous pixel art. It creates an unspoken story through a series of eight moves, chronicling a character’s life but placing the onus on players to determine – through their zen placement of objects – what that life means.
