Valve’s New Game Deadlock Has Finally Been Officially Revealed

It’s been the talk of the PC town for the last few months with tens of thousands of people already playing it, but before today was nothing more than internet rumour.

Valve has finally announced it’s first new game in years, Deadlock. As of this morning, the Steam listing for the game which is a 6-on-6 hero shooter/MOBA game has gone live, along with a teaser trailer and some screenshots.

The listing for the game simply says: “Deadlock is in early development with lots of temporary art and experimental gameplay. Access is currently limited to friend invite via our playtesters.”

As mentioned in the listing, the game is currently available via invite only, so you’ll need to know someone already playing that can invite you until things open up.

With the announcement of the game, people that have been playtesting are also now allowed to speak about it, with some quickfire impressions available below and the Twitch page full of people streaming it.
