Revealed at this morning’s Summer Game Fest, fresh from Copenhagen’s Raw Power Games, was Chronicles Medieval, a grounded, European dark medieval fantasy game.
The trailer, which begins very brooding before showing flashes of action, suggests a blend of strategy and action sensibilities. The game’s official YouTube suggests it’s a dynamic sandbox in which you can create your character and forge your path from rags to riches.
The trailer is also narrated by Tom Hardy, which certainly helps it achieve the gravitas it was going for.
Chronicles Medieval is releasing in early access in 2026.
