Sony have just revealed some brand new screenshots for The Last Guardian and boy do they look beautiful. Fumito Ueda’s previous games ICO & Shadow of the Colossus featured some of the best art direction in PlayStation history, so it’s no shock that The Last Guardian continues to charm.
It’s hard to believe but The Last Guardian will finally be releasing on PS4 on October 26th. EB Games still have some Collector’s Editions available which you can preorder HERE.

it's a shame that the visuals seem to have been downgraded since the game's initial reveal all those years ago.
art direction seems the same, but the raw graphics look a bit under (especially the flora and trees).

Not so much downgraded but the game is 8yrs old - it's realistically just a remastered PS3 game at this point. Hopefully the art direction like you mentioned and the gameplay are great enough to cover.
