Early last week, Big W had revealed that their Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy price on PS4 would be a stunning $39, before stealthily upping the price on both their digital catalogue. This price had gone out with their physical catalogue too but unfortunately it doesn’t look like they’ll honour it regardless.
They’ve now put a notice up in their gaming section in their stores. This notice will prevent them from needing to sell the game for the advertised $39 regardless of whether you have received the incorrect catalogue or not.
It reads:
Customers please note.
In this week’s brochure we have advertised Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on PS4 (page 99)
Unfortunately, the advertised price of $39 is incorrect and should actually be $49.
Big W apologies for any inconvenience or confusion caused.

Or just wait a few weeks when it will likely be 50% off on PSN. It's not exactly a must play.
If people preordered with them then by law they can only charge the $39.
Big W doesn't take pre-orders. EB Games were matching JB HiFi's launch price of $45, even for Pre-Order pickups, so it all evens out.
Ahh ok they used to take preorders but maybe it was only for consoles. I try to avoid Big W for games as too often they only have open ones. Unless i can get a sealed one from out the back i don't bother.
meh EB's deal was still better even if it was $39, you can find $8 used games there and trade in two of those + $20 for $36 total
Get it from base.com for about 37..
this is in AUD, not USD
At least they apologized and didn't just let the cashiers say sorry sir/madam but this price is wrong.
hmm dick move to be honest, mistake or not if it's in print they should honour it.
