PlayStation have announced their lineup of free games available for PlayStation Plus subscribers in October and there’s reason to be excited.
Front and centre this month is Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Hideo Kojima’s final, critically acclaimed installment in the famed Metal Gear franchise. Many put the Phantom Pain forward as a potential Game of the Year when it was released in late 2015; it’s certainly worth a play if you’ve not already.
Another generous offering comes in the form of Amnesia: Collection, including both The Dark Descent and A Machine for Pigs. If you’re not still reeling from seeing It in theatre, this is certainly another worth downloading.
Additionally, the full lineup includes:
You can also still pick up That’s You! and RIGS Mechanised Combat for free as a PS Plus member, but only until October 24th and November 7th respectively, so get on those pronto.
It’d be hard to argue that this isn’t a fairly decent month. Metal Gear Solid V is an absolutely solid game and Amnesia: Collection is a great pairing of horror games that a lot of people have probably looked over.
