Heavenly Bodies was revealed to be a part of the new PlayStation Indie initative this morning and the best part about the game is the fact that it’s developed right here in Melbourne by 2pt Interactive.
It’s coming to PS4 and PS5 in August 2021. The game is set in space, with you taking control of a spaceman who is without gravity, meaning you have to pull and push your way to and from walls and other objects within the environment. The left and right triggers control your left and right arms whilst the R1/L1 buttons control your legs.
The game will be enhanced on PS5 by the DualSense controller. The adaptive triggers in the controller will let you feel objects slipping out of your grip, and you’ll be able to feel the density of the objects that you’re holding. Haptic feedback will also provide all kinds of vibrations, during your play through.
It can be played either single player or with a friend, and it looks like it’s going to be quite hilarious to play in local co-op.
