Destruction AllStars was announced at the first PS5 event back in June, and then confirmed that it’d be a launch title on this month’s stream, but we still didn’t know a whole lot about the game until now.
Honestly, from the description, it sounds like a mix between Rocket League and Twisted Metal, with the aim of the arena game being to destroy your opponents. Where things sound crazy is that you’ll actually be on-foot when your car is destroyed, which is something I hadn’t noticed until today.
At launch, there will be 16 heroes, each of which come with special abilities for both their on-foot form and also their vehicles. As time goes on, new modes and features will be added to the game at no extra cost.
