Less than two months after getting a release date, Daedalic Entertainment has announced that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been delayed. The game was originally supposed to release on September 1st, but will now release “a few months” later. It’s unclear what that means in terms of a new date, but it’s unlikely it’ll be this year.
The post on Twitter says:
“We are dedicated to meeting our community’s expectations and uncovering the untold story of Gollum in a way that honours the vision of J. R.R Tolkien.
That being said, in order to deliver the best possible experience, we have decided to push the release of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum by a few months. We will update you with an exact timing in the near future”.
